Choppy and a bit erratic the plot lurches and hops along. The premise is rather improbable and takes a lot of imagination to embrace.
A little quirky& silly but oh so sexy and steamy. This was a great quick read. I can't wait to read about all the superheroes and their super sexy exploits. I hope the series uncovers each of them.
I love R.G. Alexander. I love this twist on the The Bachelor show.
I love a lot of RG Alexander's novels. Afraid, this just wasn't my cup of tea. Not enough early set of of the superheros to make me buy into the plot. Just a lot of sex, which usually isn't an issue. But I felt sorry for the heroine and I am not a fan of that. She comes into her own, but wasn't strong enough in the beginning for me. Sorry. I am usually a big fan.
Loved this one. I wasn't sure if the whole superhero thing would work for me. It did! A shy girl, a quiet guy, a game show with a super hero truly work togethers for a nice read. There are a few unexpected twists (and a few expected ones as well). Definitely worth the read.
I truly enjoyed this book and I'm surprised that I did. The whole superhero thing was a little silly and add in a reality show which I hate...well the book blurb just stuck with me until I gave in bought the book and I'm so glad I did. Cassie the shy caring plus size secretary, Graham the quite guy on the train and Theta Wave the superhero make for a very fun, exciting and sexy hot read. Cassie and Graham have been forming a friendship on their daily train ride each wanting more and neither has the nerve to ask. Cassie is the last minute replacement contestant on Who Wants to Date a Superhero and the prize is a date with Theta Wave. Graham sees his chances sipping away why would she want Theta Wave now he'll never have a chance or will he? Each have secrets that can ruin everything.
I can't wait for Dayna and Rocks story.
I really, really like this book, and not just for the sex scenes. The concept was different from most of the other superhero stories that I've read, and I like that. The relationship between the H and h is fun to read about and makes for a sweet (and slightly dirty) happy ending. If there were any alarming spelling/grammar mistakes I don't remember them, so I was pleased with the writing as well.
I do wish the story was longer, and not just so I could spend more time with H and h. Most dating reality shows that I know start off with way more contestants, and go over a longer period of time. I wasn't quite sure if the entire event was supposed to take place over two days, because that wouldn't really make for a very successful show--there simply wouldn't be enough there. I don't know if the author will revisit the book again, but I do think that it could be expanded and that the world could be built up a little bit more.
